Job Description

Principal Purpose of Position:

  • Conducts new hire classes on a regular basis, including the preparation of all training materials and facilities associated with each class.
  • Conducts recurrent training classes, meetings, and seminars during times of policy updates or customer service enhancements.
  • Works with internal teams to conduct informal/formal training needs assessments, identify training gaps, and drive improvements to training curriculum and or delivery.
  • Ability to train using a variety of teaching techniques (i.e. role playing exercises, simulations, team exercises, group discussion, videos, lectures).
  • Conducts performance-based assessments and evaluations of training programs.
  • Remains current on developments in training and instructional methodologies, including technology enhancements, and attends periodic seminars, forums, and meetings to ensure currency of education.
  • Develops and maintains training materials as appropriate.
  • Supports development of Individual Development Plans as needed.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of Training Experience preferred
  • Automotive experience a plus
  • Strong organization, interpersonal, communication, analytical and time management skills required.
  • High degree of responsibility and ownership of assignments
  • Experience dealing with upper management.
