Title Clerk 

Job Description Title Clerk: 

The Title Clerk is responsible for having a general understanding of all aspects of the accounting office in a dealership.  This includes expertise of laws and regulations related to registering and titling a vehicle in the state and jurisdiction that the dealership is located.   In addition this position will be responsible for handling on site cash receipts.

The position requires attentive, detailed analysis, checking for proper authorization, the ability to complete accurate reconciliations and a general understanding of the general ledger accounts. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • File documents accurately to state reporting agencies for titling and registration
  • Review contract documents for proper compliance with regulations and per Kuni policy
  • Maintain an understanding of other office positions
  • Maintain and promote customer and employee relations
  • Reliable, punctual and dependable attendance
  • 1+ year of title experience
  • Automotive experience required

Qualification Criteria:

  • High School graduation or equivalent is preferred for all employees
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills along with mechanical aptitude required
  • Current valid driver’s license 
  • Must Pass a background check and drug screen
