We are looking for a Tax Analyst to join our staff based in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey.

The position will be project-oriented, with a main goal of increasing efficiency within the corporate tax department. The position will be multi-disciplinary and focus on assisting with federal and state income taxes. The position will serve one manager, but will require interaction with additional managers and/or other more senior professional staff members within the tax department. The position will require interaction with the corporate accounting group as well as other business groups within the company and will report directly to a Tax Assistant Manager.

Other duties include

  • Assisting with the preparation of federal & state income tax work papers for extensions, estimated payments, and returns
  • Performs various analytical tasks and special projects as assigned
  • Assists in the creation of analytical tools for ongoing use.
  • Research on various tax issue, including assisting with Reponses to tax audits.
  • Assist with the preparation of income tax provision and tax account reconciliations

Position Requirements:

  • 4 year degree with minimum of 3 months of related experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills, motivation and confidence to independently address issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with particular focus in Excel
  • Interest in learning or prior knowledge of automation software
  • Knowledge of Tax Preparation Software a plus
