Principal Purpose of Position:

  • To be responsible for collating and maintaining data from a variety of sources on supplier’s performance, and presenting this to our Fleet Engineers and Operational Managers
  • To liaise with our team of Fleet Engineers,  pro-actively supporting them and providing data to influence their itineraries, in order to address any supplier related concerns 
  • To assist in the capture and maintenance of core information relating to vehicles and suppliers and supporting colleagues with data set up and pricing activity projects, as required

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Obtain, arrange and present Vendor performance related data to ARI Management and ARI Fleet Engineers, at stipulated frequencies and in a consistent format (Scorecard)
  • Receive notifications of MOT failures (‘O’ Licence vehicles) and other supplier related issues, recording the details and forwarding information to the relevant Fleet Engineer.  Track, monitor and record responses and document outcomes
  • Support the Fleet Engineers in the management of Networks, to the extent required
  • Work with the Fleet Engineers and other colleagues to ensure vehicles are defaulted to appropriate Vendors, and accurate records are maintained in ARI systems
  • Provide appropriate further administrative support to Technical Operations & Fleet Engineers, as required, in relation to supplier performance management, maintenance of accurate Network data and other data related activities
  • Assist with vehicle data set-up and pricing activities when required
  • Assist in managing phone and email communications to & from the Networks
  • Perform other duties as required

(Data to include FTA audit results, where available, number of complaints, MOT failures, booking response performance, document provision, quality & frequency of systems use, internal QA and other Vendor statistics to indicate quality of Vendor performance).

Education / Skills:  

  • A good general level of education is required and the ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report creation and analysis
  • Excellent administrative skills, with good levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to organise and prioritise own workload, in a structured and methodical manner
  • Demonstrable analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with Excel skills at an advanced level and able to grasp new software applications easily and quickly 
  • Experience in a customer facing role, or a role involving direct customer interaction
  • Technical knowledge of car, van and heavy commercials is preferred, although not essential
