Job Description

Supervisor - Central Payroll

What will you do?

  • Ensure the timely and accurate calculation and payment of wages to employees.
  • Ensure the proper and timely remittance of payroll related taxes and other fees.
  • Supervise and develop a staff of Approximately 12 people.
  • Review monthly payroll related general ledger reconciliations.
  • Maintain and update the Payroll related processes within the Workday software platform.
  • Troubleshoot all system related payroll issues as they arise.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Set-up and implement new payroll reporting entities as needed.


  • Four year college degree or demonstrated equivalent experience as determined by department management.
  • Certified Payroll Professional a plus.
  • 5+ years of accounting or payroll processing experience including at least one year in a supervisory role.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the payroll administrator field.
