Job Description

Regional Finance Director Position Summary:

Responsible for monitoring all activities of your respective region's finance. Work with the GMs to maximize your F&I department's production in PVR & product penetrations. Work with the GMs to recruit staff and minimize turnover in your region. Responsible to ensure your dealerships are following all compliance policies and report any violation to the GM and National VP of F&I.

Daily and Weekly Reporting

  • Provides schedule 2 weeks in advance outlining game plan for activities with a copy to Market Director and GM's concerned
  • Provides a weekly report to the National VP of F&I activities, accomplishment and observations
  • Checks in with GM's upon arrival to store to identify any concerns or needs
  • Checks out with GM's to report your activities, accomplishment and observations (email if unavailable)

Minimize F & I Turnover - Helps minimize departmental turnover in respective region Initial Training of F&I staff - Ensures all new hires are trained on all company policies and that they are prepared to perform their job functions:

  • Ensures that all of our new F&I consultants attend TWG training in Chicago within 90 days
  • Ensures that all of our F&I consultants are competent on all computer programs
  • Trains product knowledge of all company products

Ongoing Training of F&I staff - Continually improves staff's skills & helps maximize their potential:

  • Organizes team training through out the year (Boot camps, Director meetings, all staff etc.)
    • Role plays & trains Interview & Menu
    • Delivers cars with F&I managers present & sits in when they deliver deals

Compliance - Keeps company compliant will all laws and company policies:

  • Informs the GM and VP of F&I of any company policy violations.
  • Ensures that all federal and state regulations are being followed i.e. Red Flags, OFAC, Privacy Notice, credit applications, safeguards
  • Keeps current with all HR training and any other training required for this position.
  • Ensures that all F&I staff is AFIP certified

Operational Assistance - Helps dealerships personnel:

  • Takes TO'S and helps make deals when needed
  • Works on consistent desking practices
  • Assists with deal flow and any problem deals i.e. unresolved spots or CITs
  • Maintains a good working relationship with our lenders & ensures we are meeting their respective expectations.
  • Provides guidance and assistance to office personal whenever necessary
  • Ensures we are maximizing relationship with TWG by ensuring minimal product leakage
  • Works with TWG field force to maximize production

General Manager Assistance - Helps General Manager evaluate & manage the F&I department:

  • Assists with recruiting and retention of staff
  • Helps monitor and correct any compensation issues
  • Assists correcting and documenting any disciplinary actions
  • Assists identifying and maximizing any areas of opportunity
  • Assists General Manager monitor and correct any CSI issues
