Holman Automotive is currently seeking a Pre-Owned Sales Manager to join Audi Palo Alto!

Audi Palo Alto is seeking a dynamic self-motivating individual for a Pre-owned Sales Manager to join their successful team!

The Primary functions for this job include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Utilize acquisition software’s to maintain strategic inventory levels and maintain manufacture purchasing standards.
  • Purchase pre owned vehicles based on market analysis and prior historical data.
  • Able to research market analytics to merchandise vehicles to achieve maximum turn of inventory.
  • Assist sales management appraising client trade in vehicles using appraisal software and following a strategic acquisition process.
  • Manage all pre owned vehicles from acquisition (purchase, trade in etc.) by determining an exit strategy for retail purchase or wholesale transaction.
  • Expedite a reconditioning process to maximize efficiency of vehicle turn rates.

Relevant Work Experience:

  • Experience in the Automotive Industry, preferably as a Pre-Owned Sales Manager or Acquisition specialist
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Very strong Planning/Organizing/Managerial Knowledge (Ranges from task-focused to integrating related functions, to broadly strategic integration)
  • Ability to effectively manage the tools available and execute the agreed upon plan in order to

accomplish the assigned tasks in an efficient manner.

  • The ability to be creative and flexible to review, amend and create processes that focus on the

end goal (additional sales, purchasing pre-owned inventory, increasing the customer

experience).

Education and/or Training:

  • Ability to use computer software programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Experience in vendor software such as Vauto. Also, Mastermind, Dealer Socket and CDK.

 

Communicating & Influencing Skills:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers in the written and

oral form.

  • Ability to influence someone’s decisions and quickly and effectively address concerns, questions and objections.
  • Ability to track and communicate progress and communicate to supervisor in a timely and

efficient manner

  • Self-motivated, self-started and organized.
  • Adaptable and able to alter direction and focus quickly, as needed.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and arrive at a reasonable conclusion in a timely manner.
