Principal Purpose of Position:

  • Manage warehouse resources and activities, and align with company’s objectives and targets
  • Supervises warehouse staff, including work schedules, training, and performance management
  • Ensures all health and safety requirements are met
  • Ensures the security of the building and inventory
  • Research, recommend, and implement cost reduction and improvement measures in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities
  • Utilize the company designated freight solution to ship all product not delivered on a Holman truck
  • Plans, organizes and controls the operation of the warehouse.
  • Assigns work and manages inventory, including the receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely delivery of goods.
  • Create and audit daily work logs, daily labor, and billing reports
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and/or Training:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience

Relevant Work Experience:

  • Intermediate experience in overseeing operations for distribution, supply chain, or warehouse.

Planning/Organizing/Managerial Knowledge:
(Ranges from task-focused to integrating related functions, to broadly strategic integration)

  • Directly supervise operational and warehouse management team
  • Act upon performance information provided, coaching and guiding staff members to improve knowledge and skill where required
  • Able to organize warehouse to reach maximum efficiency
  • Able to plan driver routes, create work schedules, and manage warehouse inventory

Communicating & Influencing Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to explain company and warehouse processes and procedures
