ARI is currently accpting resumes for the position of Manager- Telematics Operations.

Principal Purpose of Position:

  • Manage the operational aspects of the telematics program, including in-field device ordering, in-field device installation, installer and telematics service provider billing, telematics implementation and telematics support.
  • Directly support the management of the Telematics Profit/Loss statement and development and expansion of ARI’s Telematics program.
  • Manage client implementation of telematics program.
  • Manage client escalations and problem management.
  • Manage all client end user support for telematics implementation or system issues.
  • Manage the operational teams that provide technical sales support.
  • Work with the Sales team and Sales support team during sales process to demonstrate program capabilities to prospects and customers.
  • Work with Sales and clients or prospects to manage successful pilot implementation of telematics.
  • Manage all aspects of bill processing for telematics partners and installation vendors.
  • Own the reconciliation of all accounting accounts for telematics billing and pass-thru charges.
  • Work to implement any new Telematics Service Providers and partners.
  • Manage the processes of telematics device order fulfillment for customers.
  • Work with head of ARI business units to drive telematics usage into business areas – to create efficiency and enhanced service for clients.
  • Work with CIS Help Desk to coordinate the management of end user support and problem resolution.
  • Work with Manager of Product Development, Telematics to support telematics product offering and changes.
  • Work with Vehicle Supply Chain to coordinate ordering of telematics devices for new vehicle orders.
  • Work with Vehicle Supply Chain to coordinate installation of telematics devices for new vehicle orders through 3rd party upfit vendors.
  • Work with Vehicle Supply Chain to manage the bill processing of telematics devices for new vehicle orders.
  • Work with Business Intelligence & Analytics team to support the delivery of data analytics and reporting to clients.
  • Manage the implementation of new customers onto telematics program per guidelines outlined in contracts.
  • Work with clients to ensure satisfaction with ARI’s telematics program.
  • Own the on-going engagement of clients to insure value of the program to existing clients.
  • Drive to 100% participation of existing clients on ARI’s Telematics program.
  • Work with IT Development to deliver system functionality to support the telematics operations.
  • Work with IT Development to deliver new features for ARI’s Telematics clients.
  • Work with IT Information Management to support data collection from Telematics integration partners.
  • Work with IT information Management to support data retention and data processing approaches for integration partners.
  • Participate in Telematics Strategy discussions.
  • Implement outcomes of Telematics Strategy discussions.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and/or Training:

  • Four-year college degree or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical and/or technical acumen.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Relevant Work Experience:

  • 7+ years’ experience in IT, telematics, supply chain or account management in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results for both internal and external customers.
  • Familiarity with telematics hardware and installation concepts.
  • Familiarity with the IT Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with IT information management principles.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and reporting principles.
