What You Will Do:

  • Lead research and implementation on a variety of technical accounting topics including revenue recognition, joint venture accounting, insurance captive accounting, leasing, and derivatives.
  • Monitor recent and / or proposed accounting standards for impact to the business. Draft whitepapers and provide guidance as necessary.
  • Lead documentation of accounting policies and ensure appropriate controls and reporting requirements are in place.
  • Complete additional projects as assigned by CFO and Director of Accounting.

Who we are looking for:

  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communications skills. Ability to present research to various levels of management.
  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • 5+ years of experience. Can be from public accounting or industry, Big 4 experience a plus.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and external reporting. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • CPA license required.
