Principal Purpose of Position:

The Graphic Designer is responsible in helping drive the creative strategy, look and feel of Holman Automotive and the seventeen distinct automotive manufacturers it represents. You should be passionate about creativity and communicating the brand with a clean, clear, and fun approach. With direction from the Marketing Manager of Digital and Branding – and in collaboration with a team of designers and agency partners – you will help to execute the strategic vision of one the automotive industry’s most prominent groups. The designer will develop and produce both print and web materials that promote our branding goals. This includes but is not limited to: web pages, print and online ads, web banners, email blasts, brochures, newsletters, and wireframes. Applicants MUST be proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. An understanding of motion graphics is a significant plus. In this role, you will:

  • Use Adobe products to develop and produce creative graphic design solutions as they relate to email design, web design, social media, advertising, promotions, event materials, signage, print collateral, direct mailers or any other graphic assets used in marketing communications.
  • Work in conjunction with marketing team to fulfill the needs of the stores
  • Develop and create visually appealing and effective marketing materials
  • Stay up to date with manufacturer programs and available marketing assets. Gathers content and imagery for marketing communications
  • Research content for publications of products. Works with content team to create templates that communicate effectively with customers and encourage them to take action based on where they fall in the customer lifecycle.
  • Follows manufacturer, industry experts and competitors to monitor digital presence and align priorities with customer needs
  • Ensure all digital properties meet Holman standards at all times
  • You may be asked to assist in the content production process which includes but is not limited to video and photo shoots.

Education and/or Training:

  • Four-year college degree, in a graphic design program

Requirements:

  • Exceptional portfolio showcasing campaigns and content development
  • 3+ years of graphic design experience
  • On the cutting edge of latest trends and best practices
  • Detail oriented, deadline driven and organized
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Social Applications
  • Ability to listen and take direction or criticism in order to reach brand goals
