Job Description

Sr. BDC/Internet Sales Representatives will be responsible for handling all incoming phone calls and internet leads, establishing relationships with customers and scheduling appointments for the various dealership sites. The Sr. BDC Representatives will strive to generate repeat business by reaching out to current customers and ensuring complete satisfaction in ownership, as well as in marketing efforts by accurately obtaining and logging customer sources.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with internet customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication (phone, email or in person)
  • Manage Internet sales leads, respond to inquiries in a timely fashion, and answer questions on available stock and product performance
  • Maintain an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business
  • Keep website up-to-date with vehicle specifications and availability
  • Schedule appointments with interested buyers for test drives and delivery of vehicles
  • Utilize defined dealership email templates for communications
  • Utilize defined dealership telephone word tracks as guidelines for process and flow of customer phone contacts

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • Automotive knowledge and experience
  • 2-3 years lead management experience
  • Proven track record of lead management performance excellence
  • Career minded, positive, ‘go-getter’ attitude

Measurement and Tracking

  • Each week, the BDC Coordinator must complete and submit an appointment tracking log to the BDC Supervisor
  • Enter all prospect/customer communications, notes, records and appointment data into the dealership CRM
  • Comply with procedures to ensure all customers are tracked and follow-up is maintained using the dealership’s lead management tools
  • Cooperate with procedures to ensure quality text, email and telephone contacts
  • Prepare reports showing customer engagement, appointments scheduled, appointment shows and sold units
