Holman Enterprises, headquartered in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, is an international automotive services company. The Corporate Communications Manager will oversee communications for five of the Holman companies, excluding retail and be the champion in furthering the One Holman Strategy.  The successful candidate will need to be able to navigate challenges and resistance that may not be foreseen or have an ambiguous deliverable.  This role is based at our Mt. Laurel, NJ location.


Principal Purpose of Position:

  • Work directly with internal stakeholders, business units, and employees to manage Pulse
  • Guide business units with the implementation of social collaboration communities by providing strategy development, technical implementation support, adoption best practices
  • Responsible for developing and executing communication plans and adoption campaigns to increase active users and drive ROI
  • Serving as the face of social collaboration, they will support employees to get the most out of social collaboration and productivity tools by answering questions, training and providing best practices
  • Act as the sole owner of all corporate communications and messaging strategy for the assigned client group.
  • Guide business units in identifying areas of workflow/communication improvement need
  • Create community content related to adoption best practices and knowledge articles that provide solutions.
  • Host virtual training for employees to understand how to use the new platform
  • Build and maintain community pages that adhere to company branding and guidelines
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and Relevant Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of marketing, social media or training and development

Planning/Organizing/Managerial Knowledge: 

  • Work cross-functionally with Technology, Corporate Communications, HR to identify best practice in the community
  • Identify, synchronize and cross-share best practices across all business units
  • Define metrics, collect and interpret data to develop actionable insight
  • Thought-leadership in social media and collaboration concepts in a business setting.
  • Must be able to work in a matrixed environment
  • Proactive and driven style; escalates and informs leaders where needed
  • Must be organized with excellent follow up

Communicating & Influencing Skills:

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and work well with leaders at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities including comfort in public speaking (both formal/ad hoc), facilitation and demonstrating thought leadership verbally and in writing.
  • Desire to be helpful to business units, have enormous patience to explain, demonstrate, answer questions, listen, provide expertise.
  • Ability to have fun while maintaining a professional demeanor
