Holman Automotive, parent company of Kuni Automotive is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in Vancouver, WA! We are seeking an individual with a high level of professionalism and strong work ethic that will support a well-controlled yet progressive approach to business. This individual will serve as the Accounting Supervisor of Kuni Enterprises, LLC and play a lead role in the oversight of the day-to-day accounting of the Holman

Automotive dealerships and real estate subsidiaries coast-to-coast, and assist in the consolidation of the retail automotive business unit. This individual will report to the Corporate Controller and will work closely with the Director of FP&A and the CFO.


  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations at the Holman Automotive Accounting Headquarters
  • Work with Centralized Accounting to ensure holding company invoices are approved and paid timely
  • Oversee and approve routine journal entries
  • Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts monthly
  • Oversee the maintenance of fixed asset records and reporting
  • Perform general research and troubleshooting of account balances, transactions, etc.
  • Supervise the general ledger accountants
  • Support the Corporate Controller in the preparation of cash and debt planning analyses, and covenant compliance forecasting, among other financial analyses
  • Develop and maintain appropriate spreadsheets and optimize use of Hyperion and other database management systems
  • Assist with the annual external audit, including assisting in the preparation of the financial statements, footnotes, and supporting workpapers
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly consolidated financial statements, footnotes and supporting workpapers
  • Assist in the preparation , maintenance and analysis of monthly standalone, consolidated, and combined financial statements of various entities of Holman Automotive

Qualifications Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required. CPA license is preferred
  • 2+ years of public accounting experience
  • Experience with financial statement preparation and consolidation, in accordance with GAAP
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Adept at written and oral communication
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite - Expert Excel knowledge a plus
  • Experience with Oracle(Hyperion), Workday and CDK a plus
  • Must be self-motivated, pro -active and enjoy working in an open team environment
