Holman Automotive, parent company of Kuni Automotive is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in Vancouver, WA! 

We are seeking an individual with a high level of professionalism and strong work ethic that will support a well-controlled yet progressive approach to business.  This individual will serve as the Accounting Manager of Kuni Enterprises, LLC and play a lead role in the oversight of the day-to-day accounting of Holman Automotive’s dealership and real estate subsidiaries coast-to-coast, and assist in the consolidation of the retail automotive business unit.  This individual will report to the Corporate Controller and will work closely with the Director of FP&A and the CFO.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations at the Holman Automotive Accounting Headquarters

Work with Centralized Accounting to ensure holding company invoices are approved and paid timely      

Oversee and approve routine journal entries

Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts monthly

Oversee the maintenance of fixed asset records and reporting

Perform general research and troubleshooting of account balances, transactions, etc.

Supervise the general ledger accountants

Support the Corporate Controller in the preparation of cash and debt planning analyses, and covenant compliance forecasting, among other financial analyses

Develop and maintain appropriate spreadsheets and optimize use of Hyperion and other

database management systems

Assist with the annual external audit, including assisting in the preparation of the financial statements, footnotes, and supporting workpapers

Assist with the preparation of quarterly consolidated financial statements, footnotes and supporting workpapers

Assist in the preparation, maintenance and analysis of monthly standalone, consolidated, and combined financial statements of various entities of Holman Automotive

Qualifications Criteria

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required. CPA license is preferred

2+ years of public accounting experience
